6 Secret Lounges, Restaurants and Speakeasies in Las Vegas

There are so many cool hidden restaurants and speakeasy style bars that have been popping up in Las Vegas in the last few years. While I haven’t visited them all, here are 6 that I recommend you check out next time you are in Las Vegas.

Ghost Donkey

I won’t give away where Ghost Donkey is…part of the fun is in the hunt. Located in The Cosmopolitan, this tiny bar fits about 30 people and has some pretty great tequila and mezcal drinks. The ambiance is also super fun! There are a lot of lights and…a donkey inside as well.

What to order: Truffle nachos, Mezcal old fashioned, Stealth margarita

The Barbershop Cuts and Cocktails

Another one located inside the Cosmopolitan. This one is much easier to find as it is on the first floor near one of the main entrances. There can be a wait on the weekends, but we lucked out and were the 10th people in line right when it opened.

What to order: Sicilian Snack Pack, Life of Kali, Breakfast Mash

Best Friend

I loved this restaurant! The front is like a New York City bodega / convenience store, but the back is a full blown restaurant! They serve a bunch of Korean fusion dishes! I recommend a reservation, especially on the weekend.

What to order: Watermelon (drink), Kogi short rib tacos, street corn, chego pork belly bowl

Beauty and Essex

Another great spot in the Cosmopolitan is Beauty and Essex. Besides the obvious giant marquee letters at the entrance of the restaurant, the entrance to the Beauty and Essex is a pawn shop where you can actually buy anything you see in the cases. The entrance to the restaurant is the large door to the left!

What to order: Pink Panther, Beauty Elixir, Earl the Pearl, Bubble and Berries, Tuka Poke Wonton Tacos, Chile Relleno Empanadas, Grilled Cheese, Smoked Bacon & Tomato Soup Dumplings, Thai Style Deep-Friend Shrimp, Mexican Street Corn Ravioli, Jasmine Rice and Mint-dusted Scallops and finally, don’t forget the dessert wheel!

Mayfair Supper Club

This restaurant is a newer spot on the strip and is located in the Bellagio. The entrance to Mayfair Supper Club is gorgeous! The flower arch entrance followed by the most beautiful bar I’ve ever seen provides the best atmosphere. We got seated at the window where we had a view of the Bellagio fountain and they even have live music!

What to order: Spicy tuna roll, king salmon, truffle pasta, cherries jubilee

Secret Pizza

This one probably isn’t so secret anymore. Located on one of the upper levels of the Cosmopolitan, you will find Secret Pizza down a long, narrow hallway! Pizza is good. As with everything on the strip, it will cost you $30-$35 for a whole pizza.

Honorable mentions that are on my list, but I haven’t made it to yet:

  1. The Underground at the Mob Museum
  2. 1923 Prohibition Bar
  3. The Golden Tiki
