After Travel Recovery: Skin and Hair Care

Updated: May 27, 2020

I don’t know about you, but usually when I travel, my vacation involves airplanes, wind, and sun. Those three items alone can take a toll on your skin and hair. When I get home from vacation, I have a routine to help detox my skin and get back to my normal routine. My hair is also colored, so when I travel my hair tends to feel a little dry as I normally can't travel with all my normal hair products. The products that I am featuring are items that I have been using for years and are my "holy grail" products.

Miscellaneous Travel Beauty Hacks:

– Drink an airborne / EmergenC before you get on the plane – There are so many germs on an airplane and the air flowing in the plane is circulated. If there is someone sick, chances are you are breathing in the air they have coughed in to. Do yourself a favor and take preventative measures before you fly.

– Try not to wear heavy foundation when you fly – Thick foundations clog your pores. When you travel, let your skin breathe

– The day you land at your destination use a hydrating face mask or apply a paper face mask.

These are my tips to staying healthy and hydrated after you travel. Do you have a routine? Leave me a comment letting me know what your favorite products are or what your routine is!
